     When Dallas left us on September 22 nd in a tragic traffic accident
he took my heart with him. Dallas was the type of dog we all hope to have
 the privilege of being owned by. He was my first champion boxer. But,
he was far more also----he had the depth of character to be my very best
friend
 ---my soulmate.

      He was dearly loved by those in his boxer family. There is Tom and Donna Doane
--who own his littermate brother " Cody " Ch. Schmidttad's Rhinestone
Cowboy. And there are his breeders Debbie and Lindsey Schmidt. For any who have seen
Lindsey show Dallas it was obvious that it was done with the pride and love that
only family has.

     We'll all cherish the good times of cheering you on in the show ring and
celebrating your championship. We'll miss you Big Guy.
The only consolation to be found in losing you , dear  friend, is that
you left behind pups and grandpups to follow in your big paw prints.

     Sleep peacefully Big Boy , my Bigger, for your legacy continues.
