In memory of our beloved Cody

CH.SCHMIDTADD's  RHINESTONE COWBOY (Cody) 11/2/1997 to 8/23/2005

Anyone who knows Tom and Donna knows that "Cody" was their pride and joy.  He  was their "once in a lifetime" dog. When I talked to Tom he told me as  much as they have loved many boxers , there has never been one like Cody.  Cody was pick of the litter , so I had to find just the right "parents"  for him. When Tom and Donna first saw him it was love at first sight by all. 

 He  became their four-legged child. Life revolved around Cody and his accomplishments.  He finished his championship young and in style. Donna was then ready to  have "her boy" home for awhile to grow up. With the same type of worrying  that most parents have, Tom and Donna decided to send Cody off to "doggie  college" as a special. It was here that Cody could fulfill his true  potential. He was in the Top Twenty for two years---2000 and 2001. 

When Cody came home, after two years away, he assumed  his true position as first son and  guardian of hearth and home. Cody gave everyone  involved  in his life-parents, grandma, handlers and judges his very best. We will  all  remember him for this quality. But Tom and Donna most cherished his loving  nature and almost human intelligence that made him "their son". As  "grandma"  my heart breaks with them and for them. Thank-you big guy for all the  thrills your life brought to all who loved you. 

Your legacy will continue through all the beautiful children and  grandchildren you leave to walk in your paw prints. We all loved you and  will miss you immeasurably.
